Sometimes these shots are my favorite.
Touring has gotten more difficult for me lately. I am trying my best. I just can’t tough it out like I used to. It is not that I do not like it, I love it and I would do it everyday if I could. I just spent 8 years on the road. Crucial years. From age 19-27, and a lot of things you are supposed to learn about life are not really learned when you tour. You kind of exist in your own bubble, occasionally the bubble pops and you are all the sudden in your bed at home in a whole different world.
I say pop because that is how it feels, like you exit one reality and all the sudden you are in the other. This past year has been me exploring that transition. I have been shooting a lot in San Diego (I still have to get my fix) we will see what 2017 has to offer.
