My Favorite Bands At Warped Tour 2015 By Adam Elmakias

Hey! Hello! Did you go to Warped Tour? I went to Warped Tour. I love Warped Tour- but it can be a bit overwhelming. 50+ Bands? I don’t have enough cameras to cover them all… so I had to do what I thought I would never do and pick my favorite bands. I remember when I was 16 shooting at a local venue and the promote Tom came up to me and stood next to me and said: “Someday, you aren’t going to shoot the opening bands, you are just gonna shoot the headliners” to which I responded. “Nah, I’ll always shoot the openers, why wouldn’t I?” and he said, “Just wait, you won’t have enough time”. Okay, those weren’t our exact words, how the heck could I remember our exact words? 10 years ago? Yeah, right I can barely remember my favorite food from when I was 16. Actually that is a lie it was pomegranate. Still. You get the idea. Anyway this year I had to slim it down, quantity over quality or the other way around. Quality always wins. So I picked a few of my favorite bands. PVRIS, Neck Deep, Crossfaith, Beartooth, The Amity Affliction, and Being As An Ocean. I felt out of all the bands that they had some of the best live shows and were the kindest to me. So naturally, I was drawn towards them. Thanks for letting me on your stage and in your face.
