Photographing Twenty One Pilots For Rock Sound Magazine

Photographing Twenty One Pilots for a magazine cover was fresh. I have seen them and worked with them a few times live, but never in a studio setting… well a tiny study in an office building – but it is still a studio. I was in London to photograph a festival and I met up with them for a little under two hours the day before and we created these photographs.

I shot these with the Canon 6D, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8, Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART and lit with a Profoto B1. Hope you like.

Here are a few more images from the shoot. There are some others which I didn’t include in the article but you can find them in the magazine. There is one where Tyler looks like he is falling over… and just want to say, he was actually falling over.
